HOFFMAN, Judge.

Homer Denney, Jr., appeals his convietion for burglary, a Class B felony. IND. CODE § 35-43-2-1 (1982 Ed.). The trial court entered judgment on the jury's verdict and sentenced Denney to a term of ten years. On appeal, Denney raises two issues:(1) whether it was error to limit evidence of the victim's drug and alcohol use; and(2) whether it was error to exclude the testimony of Dale Owens as a corroborating witness.

The evidence most favorable to the jury's verdict indicates that around 4:00 P.M. on June 4, 1986 the victim, Ron Brown, returned to his home in New Castle, Indiana.…
