Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Albany County (Harris, J.), rendered February 3, 1983, upon a verdict convicting defendant of the crimes of rape in the first degree (four counts) and robbery in the second degree (one count).

On the night of September 27, 1982, defendant and an acquaintance, Early Richardson, were at a bar in the City of Albany where they noticed complainant dancing.
