In an action on the case brought by appellee against appellant for wrongfully causing the death of plaintiff’s intestate, Karl Maika, plaintiff had judgment for $2,250, and the defendant appealed.

It is insisted that the court erred in permitting Brunhild, a witness called by plaintiff, to testify that Bosengreen, a witness called by defendant, had made a certain statement in his testimony at a coroner’s inquest inconsistent with his testimony at the trial.
