Pursuant to his pleas, Appellee was convicted on July 26, 2001, by a special court-martial consisting of a militaxy judge alone, of wrongful use and possession of a controlled substance (OxyContin), unauthorized absence, failure to obey a lawful order and regulation, wrongful appropriation, and breaking restriction, in violation of Articles 112a, 86, 92, 121, and 134, Uniform Code of Military Justice [hereinafter UCMJ], 10 U.S.C. §§ 912a, 886, 892, 921, and 934 (2000), respectively.
