LOWELL, District Judge.

The amended declaration in this case was as follows:

“The plaintiff says he is, and since 1891 has been, doing business as an electrical contractor in the city of New Orleans, in the state of Louisiana. That his business consists mainly in the installation of electric wires and plants under contract in the city of New Orleans and vicinity. That the defendant is a corporation, established under the laws- of Maine and doing business in the city of Boston and state of Massachusetts, engaged in the general manufacture of electric wires and tubes used in buildings, and…
