IN error from the State of Connecticut. The caufe was argued at the laft term, (in the abfence of the chief justice) and nqw the court delivered their opinions feriatim. . Chase, Juftice. The decilion of one queftion determines (in my opinion), thé prefent difpute. I fhall, therefore, ftate from the record no more of the cafe, than I think neceftary for theconfideration of that queftion only.
