This matter comes before the Court on the motion of the Director of Insurance for the State of Arizona to dismiss or abstain from hearing the petitions filed by Maxi-care/HealthAmerica Health Plan of Arizona, Inc. and Maxicare Arizona, Inc. (Max-icare Arizona), for relief under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code. Group Health Association of America filed an amicus curiae brief in support of the motion.
