OPINION AND ORDER

CHARLES R. NORGLE, District Judge.

Before the Court is movant William Hanhardt’s Motion to Vacate, Set Aside, or Correct Sentence filed pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2255. For the following reasons, the Motion is denied.

I. BACKGROUND

A. Facts

Movant William A. Hanhardt (“Hanhardt”) had a career spanning approximately thirty years with the Chicago Police Department (“CPD”), and he held several high-ranking positions in the CPD, including Commanding Officer of the Criminal Intelligence Unit, 14th District Police Commander, and Chief of Detectives.
