On March 10, 1995, the appellant was arrested when he picked up a package at the UPS office in Batesville. The package contained a controlled substance, methamphetamine. Officers searched the appellant at the scene and also discovered methamphetamine in the watch pocket of his jeans. As a result, the appellant was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
