PITTS, Chief Justice.
This is an appeal from a judgment for personal damages in the sum of $12,500 as a result of a collision between a pedestrian and a motor vehicle at the intersection of Polk and Seventh Streets in the City of Amarillo, Texas, during the noon hour on October 31, 1951. Appellees, Mrs. Edyth' Meacham and husband, Joe Meacham, filed suit against appellants, Mrs. Madelin Routh Loving, and husband, Dan H.
