“ The plaintiff, Lydia S. Diamond, and one of the defendants, J. C. McFadden, were married at Olympia, *190on the 9th day of December, 1882, and continued as husband and wife until June 6th, 1888. The land in controversy was acquired on the 12th day of December, 1885, by the defendant J. 0. McFadden.
