In an action, inter alia, for specific performance of a contract for the sale of real property, the defendants appeal, as limited by their brief, from so much of an order of the Supreme Court, Westchester County (Rudolph, J.), dated April 5, 2001, as denied that branch of their motion which was pursuant to CPLR 6512 and 6514 (a) to cancel the notice of pendency filed on August 31, 2000.
