Defendant, Joseph Nimmer, was found guilty of robbery after a bench trial in the criminal court of Cook County and was sentenced to the penitentiary for a term of three to eight years. He prosecutes this writ of error contending that he was not proved guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, and that reversible error was committed when the trial court suggested that defendant submit to a lie-detector test.
