This is a bill in equity, which is brought by the corporation of the city of New' York, to restrain the defendants from operating a ferry, without the license of the plaintiffs, from Mott Haven, on the north shore of the Harlem river, within the 23d ward of the city of New York, to Jersey City. The following agreed statement of facts specifies the character and uses of the boat which is employed by the defendants, the route over which the boat passes, and the object for which the said boat and route are used: “The defendants are a corporation, organized under the laws…
