¶ 1. following her guilty plea in the Circuit Court of Tippah County to capital murder and aggravated assault, Judy Wil-banks was sentenced to concurrent sentences of life without the possibility of parole and twenty years, respectively, in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections. She subsequently moved the trial court for post-conviction collateral relief, alleging that: (1) her plea was not voluntary; (2) her plea lacked a factual basis; and (3) she received ineffective assistance of counsel.
