HOFFMAN, Judge.

Appellant David Lee Showalter appeals from the denial of his petition to modify child support payments.

The facts relevant to this appeal disclose that in March 1987 David Lee requested a *539modification of child support based upon a reduction in his income. On April 28, 1987 the trial court heard evidence and denied the request due to David Lee’s failure to demonstrate a substantial and continuing change of circumstances. David Lee did not file a motion to correct errors.
