Appellant Michael Todd Davis appeals his convictions for the first-degree murder of his wife Jennifer Davis and the kidnapping of his stepdaughter Leslie Stewart. He was sentenced to life imprisonment for the first-degree murder conviction and to a forty-year sentence for the kidnapping conviction.
