The appellee, Glenn, instituted this suit in a justice court against the appellant, People’s Ice Company, to recover the sum of $162.40. The plaintiff alleged that on or about August 10, 1926, one of his employees was driving one of his automobiles in a prudent manner, crossing the intersection of Ninth and Broad streets in the city of Wichita Palls, and that one of appellant’s employees, driving an ice wagon for it in a careless and negligent manner and without observing traffic rules and regulations, ran into appellee’s car, damaging it in the sum of $162.40.
