ANDERSON, Circuit Judge:

In this bankruptcy appeal, the appellant Ronald Cross, bankrupt and defendant below, comes before us seeking the proverbial “fresh start”; his creditor, the appellee Murphy & Robinson Investment Company, seeks to be paid. Cross began his search for a “fresh start” by filing voluntary bankruptcy petitions for himself personally and for his two wholly-owned and controlled corporations, Cross Enterprises, Ltd. and Cross-Wiggins Corp.
