Appeal from Second Judicial District Court, Washoe County; A. N. Salisbury, Judge. Fred Wilson was convicted of manslaughter, and he appeals. The evidence is insufficient to support the verdict, and the court erred in overruling defendant’s motion for a new trial. There was no eye-witness to the tragedy. Defendant admitted the shooting and justified the act upon the ground of self-defense. There is nothing in the evidence disclosing any motive for the alleged crime.

This is an appeal from a judgment following a verdict of conviction for manslaughter and from an order denying a motion for a new trial.
There are many assignments of error, most of which deal with the several instructions given by the trial court, but, in view of the fact that this case must be reversed by reason of the ruling of the trial court in admitting certain evidence hereafter set forth, we deem-it unnecessary to dwell at length on other assignments.
