Appellant was indicted for murder in the first degree for the killing of Dexter Carter. He was convicted of voluntary manslaughter, and sentenced to two years in the penitentiary.

For a reversal of the judgment of conviction ag’ainst him, appellant first says the court erred in refusing to permit certain witnesses for him to testify concerning certain uncommunicated threats the deceased is said to have made against appellant some weeks before tbe killing.
