Defendant Asa Minor, Jr., was charged by indictment February 14, 1966, in two counts. Count I charged that on or about October 1, 1964, he transported in interstate commerce a stolen 1964 Thunderbird automobile from Gary, Indiana, to Grady, Arkansas. Count II charged that on or about January 1, 1965, the defendant transported in interstate commerce a *175stolen 1964 Chevrolet from Gary, Indiana, to Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Each count alleged the defendant knew that the automobiles were stolen.
