This was an action brought by appellee as a private citizen, against appellants as owners, lessees, and tenants seeking an injunction suppressing bawdyhouses, situated in what is known as the “Reservation,” the district segregated by ordinance of the city of Houston, and against the mayor and aldermen of the city of Houston, seeking to enjoin the enforcement of the ordinance of segregation.
