Plaintiffs The Regence Group, Regence Blueshield, Regence Bluecross Blueshield *1155of Oregon, Regence Blueshield of Idaho, and Regence Bluecross Blueshield of Utah (collectively, “Regence” or “plaintiffs”) brought this action seeking a declaration that defendant TIG Specialty Insurance Company (“TIG”) is obligated to pay defense and indemnity costs related to a class action lawsuit known in this case as “Thomas ” (or “Thomas/Love ”), and seeking damages arising from TIG’s claims handling of the Thomas case and two other class action lawsuits.…
