Health & Safety Code §§ 1340-1399.5 (West Supp.1977) (“Knox-Keene”) with respect to appellees’ employee benefit plans regulated by the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, 29 U.S.C. §§ 1001-1381 (Supp. V 1975) (“ERISA”).
