Proceeding pursuant to CPLR article 78 (transferred to this court by order of the Supreme Court, entered in Albany County) to review five determinations of respondent which found petitioner guilty of violating certain prison disciplinary rules.
Petitioner was confined to the special housing unit (hereinafter SHU) of Coxsackie Correctional Facility in Greene County on August 1, 1988 when a takeover of SHU by inmates occurred in which five correction officers were held hostage and assaulted and significant property damage was caused to the facility.
