OPINION OF THE COURT

MATHEWS, Senior Judge:

The appellant stands convicted, contrary to his pleas, of one specification of attempted rape, two specifications of forcible sodomy, two specifications of assault, and two specifications of kidnapping, in violation of Articles 80, 125, 128, and 134, UCMJ, 10 U.S.C. §§ 880, 925, 928, 934. He pled guilty to, and was convicted of, an additional specification alleging conduct unbecoming an officer and a gentleman, in violation of Article 133, UCMJ, 10 U.S.C. § 933, for several incidents in which he surreptitiously videotaped consensual sex acts without…
