Eddie Williams, Jr. pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute a mixture or substance containing cocaine base, a violation of 21 U.S.C. §§ 841(a)(1) and (b)(1)(C). At sentencing, the district court 1 determined, over Williams’s objection, that Williams was a career offender, sentenced him to 151 months’ imprisonment followed by three years of supervised release, ordered him to pay a $2,000 fine, and imposed a $100 special assessment.
