This action was brought to compel appellant, a township trustee, by writ of mandamus, to issue to appellee’s relator a certificate exempting him from *489working on the public highways, on the ground that he was a member of a fire company.
An alternative writ was issued, to which a demurrer was sustained, and an appeal was taken to this court, where the same was reversed. State, ex rel., v. Porter, Trustee, 134 Ind. 63.
