This case is aptly stated by appellees in their brief in the following language: “The Chicago and Oak Park-Elevated Railroad Company, the South Side Elevated Railroad Company, the Northwestern Elevated Railroad Company and the Metropolitan West Side Elevated Railway Company are corporations owning and operating elevated railroads. The railroad of the South Side Elevated Railroad Company is wholly within the city of Chicago, while the roads of the other three companies are partly within and partly without said city.
