[¶ 1] The mother of Jeremiah T. appeals from a judgment entered in the Pe-nobscot County Probate Court (Woodcock, J.) denying her petition to terminate the guardianship for her son obtained by the child’s maternal great-grandparents. The mother argues that the Probate Court erred in: (1) failing to conclude that she has a fundamental liberty interest in parenting her child and in failing to give weight to that interest in determining the best interests of her child; (2) assigning to her the burden of proof; and (3) interpreting and applying the “best interest of the child” factors stated in…
