This action arises out of the construction of the hotel and retail complex known as Lafayette Place in downtown *97Boston. Blount Brothers Corporation (Blount) was the general contractor that constructed Lafayette Place. Lafayette Place Associates (Lafayette), a Massachusetts general partnership, the general partners of which are two corporations, Mondev Mass., Inc., and Sefrius Corporation, developed Lafayette Place and presently owns part of it.
