Defendant, Charles R. Manning, a/k/a John Doe, was convicted in the District Court for the District of Maine on three counts for making false statements to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and the Immigration & Naturalization Service (INS), in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1001, and for falsely representing his Social Security Number (SSN) to White Rock Distilleries, Inc. and the City of Lewiston, Maine, in violation of 42 U.S.C. § 408(g)(2). The district court sentenced Manning to a sixteen month term of imprisonment and a three year term of supervised release.…
