Defendants Joseph and Mara Kirsh, husband and wife, appeal from judgments entered in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, following a jury trial before Kevin Thomas Duffy, Judge, convicting them of sending threatening communications through the mail, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 876 (1988), of conspiring to do so, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 371 (1988), and, as convicted felons, of possessing firearms, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1) (1988).
