I am unable to resist the temptation to comment that this case is an embarrassment to the administration of civil justice in this state. A verdict was entered in June of 1971 in the trial court and has not as yet been finally disposed of yet thrice viewed by this Court and once by the Supreme Court by its denial of leave. The issue presented should have been disposed of peremptorily on simple motion for rehearing, either timely or delayed, and a scandalous four-year hiatus obviated.
