Appellees recovered judgment against Wayne township, Marion county, Indiana, for $190.34 damages on account of injuries to sheep killed, maimed, and crippled by dogs in said township on the 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, and 16th of June, 1898. The sufficiency of the complaint is not questioned. Appellant’s answer was in three paragraphs. (1) General denial. (2) That appellees were not engaged in the business of sheep husbandry at the time the injuries complained of were inflicted, but that they were engaged in the business of buying and selling live stock at the stock yards in the city of…
