Jones employed Woodbury, a carpenter, to build for him a framed house, the different apartments and dimensions of which were exhibited in a ground plan, and Woodbury agreed to perform the work for the price of $600 or $650, to be paid by the conveyance of a certain lot in the town of Paducah, estimated at the value of $800, the excess to be accounted for in carpenter’s work. This agreement was verbal only.
