Acadiana Fisherman’s Co-Op (Acadiana) appeals a judgment of the district court denying its Exception of Improper Venue. We affirm.

Plaintiff, P.S. Chez Sidney L.L.C. (Chez Sidney) filed a petition against Acadiana in the 24th Judicial District Court for the Parish of Jefferson. The petition alleged that in 2001, Acadiana entered into an agreement to cut alligator meat from the Louisiana wild alligator season for Chez Sidney, at a certain price per pound.
