Opinion by

Judge Crumlish, Jr.,

The Butler County Common Pleas Court set aside two Local Referendum Petitions1 filed by Ralph T. Taylor because of material defects in the circulator’s affidavit. Taylor appeals. We affirm.

*262Article IX, Section 909 of the Pennsylvania Election Code,2 requires, inter alia, that election petitions shall have appended thereto the affidavit of the circulator, stating:(a) that he or she is a qualified elector . . .;(b) his residence, giving city, borough or township . . .;(c) that the signers thereto signed with full knowledge of the contents of the petition.3
