Affirming.

The appellant became surety on tbe bond of Charles L. Hatton as tax collector for tbe city of Jackson during 1931. He failed to account for $5,373.36, wbicb was about balf of tbe taxes witb wbicb be was charged, and, in a suit upon tbe bond, Hatton and bis surety were adjudged to pay that sum. Only tbe surety appeals. Tbe several grounds submitted for reversal of tbe judgment are disclosed in tbe course of tbe opinion.
