The sole issue presented to us in these consolidated writ applications is whether, as to certain defendants as to whom it has been determined that venue is improper, the case should be transferred to proper venues or, instead, dismissed without prejudice. This seemingly routine procedural issue is fraught with weighty substantive consequences because the present case involves alleged liability as to blood transfusions.
