Appellee was seriously injured by being struck at the right-angled intersection of Sixteenth street and Twenty-third avenue in the city of Meridian, in the daytime, by an automobile driven northward on said avenue by the appellant Sarah Dement, an adult daughter of the other two appellants. We quote from the brief of appellants as, follows: ‘ ‘ The testimony of Miss Dement, driver of the car, and all the other witnesses who saw the accident, was succinctly this: That when they first saw the appellee he was standing in the street near the curbing.
