(after stating the facts.) Under the act of February 20, 1893, the clerk of the circuit court of Sebastian County receives a salary of $3,500 per annum. Is he entitled to any additional compensation for his services as recorder? We think not. The act of February 20, 1893, as amended by the act of May 8, 1899, when considered as a whole, shows that the purpose of the Legislature was expressed in the title of the act.
