L. Huddleston, appellee, brought this suit in the justice’s court of precinct No. 1 of Matagorda county, Tex., against W. W. Wilkerson, individually, and as agent of a copartnership composed of J. F. Hudson, J. •S. Hansel, and W. W. Wilkerson, to recover the sum of $27.50 alleged to be due him for labor upon the well-boring rig of said co-partnership, and for a foreclosure of his laborer’s lien on 2,500 feet of 4-ineh drill pipe; 500 feet of 3-ineh drill pipe; 300 feet of 6-inch casing; 440 feet of 8-inch casing; one 86-foot derrick; and a large quantity of other valuable personal property;…
