This action came on to be heard on cross motions for summary judgment pursuant to Rule 56(b), F.R.Civ.P.

Plaintiff, an applicant for disability insurance benefits, seeks review under § 205(g) of the Social Security Act, 42 U.S.C. § 405(g), of a final decision of the Secretary denying his application.
