We granted this appeal to determine the propriety of the defendant’s criminal contempt convictions arising out of his failure to pay child support and alimony. We conclude that: 1) the defendant was denied the right to counsel; and 2) the evidence is insufficient to support the defendant’s criminal contempt convictions for the failure to pay both child support and alimony.
