BB.ÓWN, J.(1) The fact that the deceased when he left home had money in his possession was pertinent, as tending to show motive for the crime, as ivas the testimony showing that deceased exhibited his purse at Snellgrove’s house and made statements with reference to the value of its contents in the presence of the defendant, and this testimony was properly allowed to go to the jury.
