*770Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Queens County (Cooperman, J.), rendered November 22, 2004, convicting him of assault in the first degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence.

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.

The defendant’s generalized motion to dismiss made at the conclusion of the People’s case failed to preserve his challenge to the legal sufficiency of the evidence (see People v Hawkins, 11 NY3d 484 [2008]; CPL 470.05 [2]).
