Sheets v. Davenport

Pollock, District Judge.

The administrator of the estate of Shirla Sheets, deceased, and the administrator of the estate of Sonjia Larreau, deceased, filed claims- against the estate of Daniel Davenport, deceased, to recover for the alleged wrongful deaths of their decedents. They so-ught recovery under the guest statute, claiming gross negligence on the part of Davenport in the operation of a motor vehicle. The actions were consolidated in the county court, we assume by agreement. Upon ultimate trial in the district court, the jury returned verdicts for the defendant and plaintiffs appeal.
