This is a proceeding to punish the Iron-Clad Manufacturing Company, and H. W. Shephard, the president thereof, for contempt. On the eleventh day of February, 1878, Alanson H. Tift filed in this court a voluntary petition in bankruptcy, and on the same day a petition in composition, and thereupon a meeting of creditors was duly called, to consider the proposition for composition, which was to pay 33-J- per cent.
